Beginning August 2020 if the studio should have to close due to a government mandated shut down or state of emergency due to medical or weather related circumstances NO refunds will be given. If you have paid for the entire year, a partial credit will be given.
The first months tuition and your registration fee are due when you register for dance class. All fees are non-refundable even if your child decides not to attend.
There is a non-refundable $30.00 registration fee per dancer each dance year. This fee can not be credited toward anything else.
Once a dancer registers for dance class their space is reserved for them regardless if they attend or not, full tuition is due.
Please remember when you register for dance class you are registering for the entire 10 months.
The monthly tuition is due the first dance class of the month, after the 10th of the month a $5.00 late fee will automatically be added to your statement for each month until the tuition is paid. The payments are 1/2 month for August, 9 equal payments and 1/2 month for June.
You will be issued a statement each month and you are to return this with each payment and if you fail to return the envelope you will be charged $5.00 for a new envelope.
No Refunds or Class Credits & Early Withdrawals
If a dancer attends one class in a calendar month you are responsible for that month’s tuition.
No refunds or credits are given. If a student withdraws a 2 week written notice is required, withdrawal by phone is unacceptable, it must be in writing.
After the written withdrawal is received at the studio you will be charged an early withdrawal fee of 1 month tuition plus whatever your unpaid balance is as penalty for withdrawal before the end of the dance year.
The dance year runs for 10 months, late August to 1st weekend in June.
If a dancer should withdraw after January 1st you are responsible for the balance on the dance year because we are in the middle of Dance Revue routines, costumes are usually already fitted, and the teacher has to re-choreograph the dance routine when your child withdraws.
Miscellaneous Tuition and Extra Class Information
Cancelled Class Policy
If dance class is cancelled by the studio a make-up class will be offered. Failure to attend the make-up dance class will not result in another make-up dance class, a refund, or credit to your account.
Extra Private Class
If a dancer misses their class several times and cannot attend the make-up class that Miss Cindy offers then a private class can be arranged for a set fee of $25.00 for each class. The Studio offers a make-up class if the dancer misses their regular dance class.
If you the dancer fails to attend the make-up class it is up to you to talk to Miss Cindy about a private class. The cost of the extra class is paid at each class to offset the Miss Cindy’s extra time and studio expense.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for pick-up you will be charged a late pick-up fee of $5.00. Please remember to pick up your dancers on time.
Special Classes And Fees
Anyone who desires a special class such as choreography for a talent show, beauty pageant, or other event, please see Miss Cindy for the tuition price.
This also includes all private instruction that Miss Cindy gives throughout the dance year.
Special Choreography Fees
If you need special Choreography for a talent show or a routine for an extra performance there is a flat fee of $100.00 for the dance and you must take an additional 4 ½ hour private classes at $25.00 a class.
This fee covers Miss Cindy’s time (choreographing the dance), studio time, and utilities. This fee is non-refundable and if you fail to attend a private that is on the calendar for you, you are charged because Miss Cindy will be sitting at the studio waiting for you.
